Morristown Central School will be providing
FREE meals to all children 18 and under from 7/14 - 8/25
A public hearing will be held at the MCSD Board of Education's August 16th meeting at 6 p.m. in the Cafeteria to solicit public comments on the "MCS District-Wide School Safety Plan for 2022-23" and the "MCS Code of Conduct for 2022-23." Both documents can be found on this webpage, under the Parents/Community tab, and then the Polices and Plans tab.
The Morristown Recreation Committee will be offering swimming lessons this summer for children ages 5-12 years old!!! Swimming will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays starting on July 5th through July 28th from 1 to 3 p.m. at Keewaydin State Park. School bus pickup locations will be at MCS at Noon, Brier Hill Fire Station parking lot at 12:10 p.m., and Hammond Central School at 12:20 p.m. There will NOT be a pickup in Edwardsville this year. Calling all Morristown Central School District Alumni! MCS is looking to recognize our alumni and also invite you to present to our students if possible, either in person or via Zoom later this Spring.
MCS will be recognizing and honoring alumni who serve as a celebration for our school community and an inspiration for our students.
We are looking for alumni who have demonstrated excellence in their chosen field, who have made outstanding contributions to humanity, and/or who have given outstanding service to their community or chosen field.
If you are a graduate or if you know a graduate who would be an inspiration to our students, please let us know by completing this survey. Please contact the District Office with any questions.

On behalf of the MCS Board of Education, Administration, Faculty, & Staff, we are pleased to announce that Nathan Forrest has been named Morristown Central School's Class of 2022 Salutatorian. Nathan has earned a cumulative average of 96.45. He will graduate with a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation, as well as with twelve college credits. Nathan is a member of the National Honor Society and Senior High Chorus. In the Fall, he will be attending SUNY Potsdam, where he will be pursuing a double major in Geology and Biology. Nathan is the son of Michael and Christine Forrest. Congratulations, Nathan! MCS is so proud of you and all of your accomplishments!
On behalf of the MCS Board of Education, Administration, Faculty, & Staff, we are pleased to announce that Iris Bailey has been named Morristown Central School's Class of 2022 Valedictorian and Outstanding Career Technical Education (CTE) Student. Iris has earned a cumulative average of 97.45. She will graduate with a Regents Diploma, as well as with nine college credits. Iris is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society. She has been a student at Northwest Tech throughout her junior and senior years, taking Graphic Communications, where she is certified in multiple Adobe programs. Iris also received the North Country Arts All-Star Award. In the Fall, she plans to attend SUNY Canton, where she will pursue a degree in Game Design. Iris is the daughter of Allison Felt and the late Tim Bailey. Congratulations, Iris! MCS is very proud of you and your many accomplishments!
