Principal
Welcome to Morristown Central School!
Dear Students, Families, and Community Members:
Welcome back to a new school year! We are thrilled to have you as part of our school community and look forward to an exciting and productive year ahead. For those of you who are new to our school, we are a small, rural district situated along the St. Lawrence River and Black Lake of approximately 300 students. Despite being a small school, we offer many unique opportunities to students and seek to provide meaningful opportunities for families and the community to be actively involved.
At our school, we believe that student, family, and community involvement is key to a successful educational experience. Your engagement and support play a crucial role in helping our students thrive both academically and personally. We encourage you to participate in school events, stay connected with your child's progress, and communicate regularly with teachers and staff. I am certain, with your help, we will be able to work together to provide a welcoming and safe environment that challenges students to develop, explore, and grow as students and people.
Our primary goal is to develop responsible and future-ready individuals. We are committed to providing a nurturing and challenging environment that equips our students with the skills, knowledge, and values necessary to succeed in an ever-changing world. Together, we can inspire our students to reach their fullest potential and become confident, capable leaders of tomorrow.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication. We look forward to a fantastic school year filled with learning, growth, and achievement.
Sincerely,
Mr. Corey A. Flynn, Building Principal
