Mrs. Scott’s Environmental Engineering class is hosting a school-wide bottle drive competition through May 26. The goal is to bring awareness to the importance of recycling.
Did you know, only 63% of schools recycle? By participating in this drive, Mrs. Scott’s class hopes to create a sense of community at MCS, while benefiting the environment. Students are asked to sort bottles and cans at home, then bring them to school to be recycled as part of the bottle drive.
A small party will be planned for the winners of the drive, and the remaining proceeds will go to the MCS Wellness Committee. Happy recycling!
