Morristown Central School is making it a priority to ensure all local children have access to delicious and nutritious meals this summer. The district will once again be offering breakfast and lunch for free to anyone 18 years of age or younger, even if they attend a neighboring district.
This year’s program will run from Monday, July 6 through Thursday, August 27.
If you are interested, you are asked to fill out the form found at this link. The form will need to be completed weekly. Requests for Thursday meal pick up need to be submitted by Wednesday.
Distribution Information
Beginning on Monday, July 6 and continuing through Thursday, July 30, Morristown will be serving free breakfast Monday-Thursday from 7:45 - 8:15 a.m. and free lunch Monday-Thursday from 11:15 - 11:45 a.m. at the Morristown School Cafeteria. You do not need to sign up for these free meals. This is open to anyone 18 years of age and younger, from any surrounding school district.
Meals for Friday through Sunday can be picked up for consumption at home. These meals can be picked up on the following Thursdays between 12 and 1 p.m. at the MCS kitchen loading dock:
- Thursday, July 9
- Thursday, July 16
- Thursday, July 23
Bags will contain three breakfasts and three lunches. You must sign up in advance using this form to receive these free meals. You must sign up for these free meals each week.
Beginning on Thursday, July 30, families will be able to pick up a full week’s worth of breakfasts and lunches for consumption at home. These meals can be picked up on the following Thursdays between 12 and 1 p.m. at the MCS kitchen loading dock:
- Thursday, July 30
- Thursday, August 6
- Thursday, August 13
- Thursday, August 20
Bags will contain breakfasts and lunches for a full week (seven breakfasts, seven lunches). You must sign up in advance using this form to receive these free meals. You must sign up for these free meals each week.
